About Dr Moazzeni
Dr Moazzeni manages a broad range of adult cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, cardiomyopathy, atrial fibrillation, valvular heart disease, hypertension and abnormal cardiac investigations.
Preventive cardiology is a major focus of his practice. He has a particular interest in identifying cardiovascular risk that may be overlooked by conventional cholesterol and blood-pressure assessment, including Familial Hypercholesterolaemia, elevated Lipoprotein(a), ApoB-related risk, diabetes, chronic kidney disease and a family history of premature cardiovascular disease.
Where appropriate, assessment may incorporate echocardiography, stress echocardiography, coronary artery calcium scoring or CT coronary angiography. Testing is selected according to the patient's symptoms, clinical findings and overall cardiovascular risk rather than performed routinely.
Dr Moazzeni also has a longstanding interest in clinical workflow design and medical software, and has built a customised clinical database supporting structured documentation, problem tracking and secure correspondence with referring GPs.
