What You Need
A valid GP or specialist referral is required for a Medicare rebate. If you don't have a referral, you can still book — the consultation will be self-funded.
Please bring your referral letter, Medicare card, any recent test results (blood tests, ECG, imaging), and a list of your current medications.
What to Expect
Your first appointment is a comprehensive cardiac assessment. Dr Moazzeni will review your history, examine you, and discuss any symptoms or concerns in detail.
If needed, investigations such as an echocardiogram or stress echocardiogram can often be arranged on-site during the same visit or shortly after.
Services Available
Cardiology Consultation
Assessment of chest pain, breathlessness, palpitations, heart failure, high blood pressure, cholesterol and cardiovascular risk
Echocardiogram
Ultrasound of the heart performed and interpreted by Dr Moazzeni. Bulk billed for eligible patients
Stress Echocardiogram
Heart ultrasound during exercise to check for reduced blood flow to the heart muscle

Billing
Consultations are privately billed. A Medicare rebate applies when you have a valid GP or specialist referral. The gap (out-of-pocket cost) will be discussed with you when your appointment is confirmed. Echocardiograms can be bulk billed for eligible patients — there is no out-of-pocket cost. Stress echocardiograms are privately billed with a Medicare rebate.
